Orvis-endorsed Baja on the Fly offers the fun and excitement of saltwater fly-fishing in the beautiful bluegreen Sea of Cortez located at the East Cape 60 miles north of the tip of Baja, Mexico’s peninsula. We also offer inshore trips (for snook) inside the mangroves and bluewater trips out of Magdalena Bay, located on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula, as well as other exciting locations. Family-owned and operated, Gary and Yvonne Graham’s Baja on the Fly was recently selected 1999 Orvis Expedition of the Year. Gary and his FFF-certified English-speaking guides are your best bet for marlin, dorado (mahi-mahi), roosters, tuna, snook and jacks on a fly. Since we work closely with some
of the finest hotels in Baja and book 1,000 or more nights of hotel rooms in
Mexico each year, we probably have more influence in obtaining accommodations,
boats and other services than anyone.
We make sure your travel plans go smoothly.
Click on the photos for more info Gary and Yvonne are dedicated to making your trip to Baja a wonderful experience, and they work to smooth the way for you and your guests. They have lived in the East Cape area for 20 years and have first-hand knowledge and experience in getting things accomplished in Baja. We had a fabulous time and would recommend Baja on the Fly to my friends. Thank you Yvonne for all your shared tips to help with our trip. Your personal touch was very much appreciated!! Our best to Baja on the Fly. Beth Barker & Cheryl Lispi. November 2001 I had a great time and give my kudos to Jeff and the staff at Buena Vista. I will fish with you again for sure!! We just came back from a Salmon fishing trip in British Columbia which A note to you both with my compliments on an enjoyable and well organized fishing trip to Baja. Every aspect of the trip was handled in good order and while one wishes at times for a fish on every cast, Gary and his excellent guides saw to it that we had very adequate opportunities to catch fish. I’ll be pleased to recommend this experience to my fishing friends in the future. Sam I just wanted to drop you guys a line to
thank you for a great experience in Baja. I truly have the "saltwater bug" after
fishing with you, and have not been able to shake it since I returned to South Carolina.
Catching little freshwater trout will never be quite the same after seeing big roosterfish
crashing bait. Likewise, chasing schools of jacks up and down the beach was a unique
experience, one that will likely be etched in my mind for life. Sandra Berrios, Miami, Fl: I have not had the opportunity to say THANK YOU for a memorable week in Baja. I had a PHENOMENAL time, even when the winds were not cooperative! I loved the pictures that you included in the disc and I will be sure to print some to have in my office this year! I know I define "neophyte", but I do love this sport and I promise I will practice!! Susan Gagnet, Seattle, Wa: I enjoyed last years trip so much that I just had to come back again this year and I wasn’t disappointed. So many Dorado and big one too! This is my largest fish ever on a flyrod. Thanks for a GREAT TRIP! John Weber, Pacific Grove Ca: This was the best fishing trip of my life, and that includes trips to New Zealand, Australia, Alaska, Canada plus the USA west. Gary always found time to check in with
us, and
I was highly impressed with his professionalism and service…Doug Errett,
Reston, VA.
